Sunday Morning Experience
Adults & Youth
As part of our return to the basics principle of the rechurch mindset we are keeping Sunday mornings simple. Like most traditional churches we offer bible study for all ages starting at 9:45. Worship begins at 10:45 for adults and youth. Currently the preschool and children groups remain in their Bible study group during worship.
Sunny Side is a smaller church and that allows us to be casual. Casual is not just about the clothes we wear, it is the way we worship. The music is blended and led by our praise team. The pastor utilizes both expository and topical types of sermons, often preaching thru a book of the Bible or a series of messages relating to topics relating to everyday life.
Preschool & Children
Sunday Mornings for children preschool and grade school age some like to call it childcare. It is much more than that to our volunteers who work with them each week.
Our primary goal is to express the love of God. We want the children to have a great experience that involves a Bible story, activities, games, music and snack. We strive to have a VBS like quality experience each and every Sunday.
Security is very important to us. We ask parents of preschoolers to fill out a security card with essential information so that we can care for your child. We also issue security bands that must be presented when you pick up your child after the service. We will only release a child to an adult with the matching info (no siblings, please).
